What to expect

  1. Dubrovnik
    5h
Explore the dazzling Dalmatian coast from and learn about the Dubrovnik Republic that was the symbol of prosperity and progress for a long period of time. It had one of the largest trade fleets on the Mediterranean Sea and, as such, was an unavoidable partner in the European commercial and political affairs of that time. This undefeated town, with a diplomatic web that many of today’s “modern“ states would be proud of, was the centre of one “small“ Republic which preserved its independence and existed for 450 years.

Uncover the secrets of Dubrovnik’s past as you visit historic landmarks, such as the iconic Stradun, Rector’s Palace, and the Cathedral. Delve into the city’s maritime legacy at the Maritime Museum, or lose yourself in the labyrinthine alleys of the picturesque residential neighborhoods.

You will discover a town revered as a UNESCO World Heritage site, encircled by majestic walls and fortresses that have commanded the region for countless centuries.
  2. Walls of Ston
30m · Admission ticket not included
Ston deserves a visit for its impressive medieval defensive walls, often referred to as the “European Wall of China,” and its centuries-old salt pans that operate to this day.
