Overview

Sapa is home to a diverse range of ethnic minority groups, each with their own unique traditions, costumes, and languages. The Hmong, Dao, Tay, and Giay communities are just a few of the many ethnic groups that call this region home. These communities have maintained their traditional way of life for centuries, and their customs, crafts, and music are an integral part of Sapa's cultural heritage. The rolling hills are blanketed with emerald green rice terraces, which change with the seasons, from lush green in the summer to golden yellow in the autumn. Stay overnight at a comfortable hotel in Sapa and relax between guided trekking tours during this 2-day itinerary. Hike for several hours each day to hill tribe villages belonging to the Black Hmong and Dzay ethnic minorities.
