Overview
Solio Game Reserve and Aberdare National Park are two popular destinations for wildlife enthusiasts in Kenya. Each offers a unique game drive experience, showcasing diverse landscapes and incredible wildlife sightings. Solio is known for its successful rhinoceros conservation efforts and is home to both black and white rhinos, making it one of the best places in Africa to see these endangered animals. The reserve also boasts a thriving population of other wildlife, including zebras, giraffes, buffalos, and various antelope species. One of the highlights of visiting Aberdare National Park is the opportunity to spot the elusive bongo, a rare and critically endangered antelope species. visitors can explore the diverse landscapes and altitudes while enjoying the scenic beauty of the Aberdare Range. Visitors may encounter elephants, buffalos, warthogs, bushbucks, and various species of monkeys, including colobus and Sykes' monkeys.

What to expect
Day 1: Nairobi - Aberdare
Aberdare National Park

You will be picked at your residence, hotel or Airport and drive to the Aberdare National Park. First, we will arrive for lunch at our lodge followed by a few hours of relaxation before embarking on a game drive though the Aberdare National Park. As you embark on the Aberdare Game Drive, you'll be greeted by lush forests, cascading waterfalls, and rolling hills that create a picturesque backdrop for your adventure. The park is known for its rich biodiversity, ranging from dense bamboo forests to open moorland, providing a unique environment for a variety of wildlife to thrive.
Return to our lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Solio Ranch - Nairobi
Solio Game Reserve

After breakfast leave for Solio Ranch for morning game drive. Solio Ranch is also home to other notable wildlife species, including buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and an abundance of birdlife. Keep your eyes peeled for predators such as lions, leopards, and hyenas, which can occasionally be spotted on the ranch. Later leave for the ranch and embark on a journey back to Nairobi with a lunch stop en route.
