Overview
Experience three distinct sides of Cambodia in a single day—masterpiece art, overgrown jungle ruins, and authentic lake life. Designed for travelers looking to venture off the beaten path, this private expedition combines the world-famous carvings of Banteay Srei with the raw, unrestored jungle temple of Beng Mealea and the towering stilted community of Kompong Khleang.
Why book this experience:
• Banteay Srei: Marvel at the late 10th-century pink sandstone temple, renowned for having the most intricate and remarkably preserved stone carvings in the entire Angkor empire.
• Beng Mealea Jungle Exploration: Step into an Indiana Jones-style setting at this massive 12th-century temple, left largely unrestored as trees, moss, and vines weave through fallen sandstone blocks.
• Kompong Khleang Stilted Village: Discover an authentic, non-touristy community on Tonle Sap Lake. Behold houses standing on 10-meter-high stilts during the dry season or navigating flooded streets during the wet season.

What to expect
Banteay Srei
1h
Banteay Srei well known for its beautiful delicate carvings in warm pink sandstone.
Prasat Beng Mealea
2h
Beng Mealea has now been made more accessible. Recently built wooden platform snakes around the inner part of the temple allowing you an elevated view of the moss-clad jigsaw puzzle. This mid 12th century temple features mixture of Buddhism and Hinduism attributes and is particularly mesmerising in the wet season.
Kompong Khleang
2h
The stilted community of Kompong Khleang is located on the northern edge of the Tonle Sap lake approximately 55km east of Siem Reap town. Accessible in both dry and wet season, visitors to Kompong Khleang during the dry season are universally awestruck by the forest of stilted houses rising up to 10 meters in the air. When the monsoon comes the waters rise up to one or two meters of the buildings. This is a permanent community with subsistence fishing as the main source of livelihood. This is also one of the largest communities on the Tonle Sap lake.
