Overview
The tour guide will accompany you on a thrilling adventure around Pompeii, showing the characteristic features of the city such as the ‘Teatro Grande’ and the ‘Teatro Piccolo’, where you can hear the acoustic perfection of the auditorium – a feat which was achieved over two-thousand years ago; as well as a stroll down the principal street of commerce, a visit to the ‘pleasure domes’ and much more, before making the final stop at the main square (the Forum) – the focus of life in any Roman settlement. This experience will really immerse you in the domestic way of life in the Roman Empire!
In Herculaneum, you can enter the Roman houses and see some unique and extraordinary features such as the original doors, roof beams and the original furniture of the shops. The itinerary will also include the most popular place in the town - the thermal baths.
You can go from Pompeii to Herculaneum by circumvesuviana train or with your own car.
